A bit about the guy behind the lens

Hey! I’m Brandon — photographer, storyteller, and believer in sacred stillness. I’m based on the Sunshine Coast, but my camera and I have been known to wander far and wide — from Noosa’s golden beaches to Maleny’s misty hills.

We started The Still Frame out of a simple conviction: that real beauty isn’t performed, it’s revealed. The truest moments — the ones that move us — often happen quietly. A look. A laugh. A hand brushing past another. That’s where love lives. My work is about honouring those moments.

Outside of photography, I’m studying Pastoral Ministry, which deeply shapes how I see people and moments. It’s taught me to listen, to notice, and to value the stories that make us who we are.

I’m married to the love of my life (and the reason my brand looks this good — she’s got the better taste). We have 5 amazing children, aging from 1 to 13. Together, we believe in living slowly, loving deeply, and finding beauty in every frame.

stillness.
Natural.
Real.

Photography, for me, is spiritual work. My imagery is timeless, warm, and inspired by natural light — what I call “boho elegance.” Think soft tones, organic textures, and moments that feel as good as they look.

I’m here for the genuine — the unscripted. The beauty that doesn’t need direction, just recognition.

Every frame holds something of the Imago Dei — the divine fingerprint in every human story. When I photograph a wedding, a family, or two people in love, I see the sacred in the ordinary.

I don’t chase trends or filters that fade. I chase connection, warmth, and authenticity — the kind of beauty that lasts. When we shoot together, my goal is simple: help you feel at ease, seen, and celebrated. I’ll give gentle direction when you need it, and space when you don’t. We’ll wander, laugh, breathe, and let the real moments unfold.

Whether it’s your wedding day, an intimate elopement, or a weekend session with your family, I want it to feel like you — honest, joyful, and unforced.

Stillness is not the absence of motion, but the presence of meaning.

Sacred.

You’re not just booking a photographer — you’re inviting someone into your story.

I don’t take that lightly. Every shoot, every couple, every family carries a weight of meaning that I want to honour with care and creativity.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t really about me — it’s about you. Your love. Your people. Your story. Frozen for a moment, remembered for a lifetime.
